Our Magnum Dolly Variations

To offer you more flexibility, we designed the MAGNUM DOLLY as a modular camera dolly system. The foundation is the LEGGERO BASE DOLLY. Standardized it comes with our electromechanical CENTRE COLUMN which offers you maximal flexibility in your shots. For fixed shots, you can alternatively use the lightweight BASE PLATE EURO ADAPTER or the BASE PLATE EURO TURNSTILE MOUNT.

Wheel Setting

The Wheel Setting Clamp has 3 settings:
CRAB -> Enables connected steering of the wheels.
FREE -> Enables the wheels to rotate freely (for use on track).
FIXED -> Allows the wheels to be locked at set angles of 45 degrees.

New Turnstyle

Probably one of the most striking innovations of the New MAGNUM DOLLIES is the completely redesigned turnstile. It offers an incredible variety of advantages over the previous model and also over turnstiles of other dollies

New Telescopic Steering

The new telescopic handlebar can be optimally adjusted to the individual body size of the respective dolly grip. This enables much more ergonomic working.

In addition, the connection to the dolly is now absolutely backlash-free. This enables even more precise operation of the dolly.

The telescopic handlebar (1013-00) is included in the standard Magnum Dolly set, but can also be retrofitted on request.

Ergonomic Seat Arm Concept

The new MAGNUM-DOLLY turnstile features ultra-stable seat arm adjustment.

This allows the seat position to be optimally adjusted to the respective requirements.

The new wireless remote control allows you to steer the dolly from distance. It is designed for precision work giving you more flexibility than ever before. If preferred the dolly can be controlled as usual as well.

Centre Column

The removable electromechanical MAGNUM DOLLY centre column is the heart of the dolly movement. Effortlessly mountable within seconds, this column is engineered for outstanding shots.

New Turnstile

The MAGNUM DOLLY #V comes with a completely redesigned turnstile offering incredible variety.

Multifunctional – attach a wide variety of accessories such as the system low boom mount, the assistant’s seat mount, the 4-way-leveler, etc to different positions.
Lower – easily remove the EURO SPIGOT and mount accessories directly on the columnfor even lower shots.
Stabile and rigid – high-strength alloys made the new turnstile significantly more stable. The material has increased visibility to minimize deflection, even under maximum load.
New Brake – a solid stainless steel sprocket locks the turnstile in position.
Versatile – More possibilities than ever to work with your MAGNUM DOLLY. For example, the ultra-stable seat arm extension can be used as a mini low rig if time does not permit a complete setup.

Telescopic Steering

The steering rod can be positioned on all four wheel arms.

Changing the steering mode: shifters on all four arms of the dolly allow to choose between the steering modes Fixed, Crab and Free.
Narrow Gauge: track width is 36cm for “Narrow Gauge”. While the dolly is moved in that condition, the steering mode must be put on “Free”
Standard Gauge: dolly has a track width of 62cm which is the standard dimension for tracks

The GIZMO JIB is the perfect partner for the Magnum Dolly System.

With its telescopic front segment, the Gizmo Jib offers you all the versatility, allowing you to adjust its length effortlessly from towering heights to ground level, ensuring you capture every angle.

Designed with seamless integration in mind, the connection rod effortlessly links the Magnum column to the jib, enabling synchronized movement. This means you can effortlessly control the jib’s articulation using the Hand Control Unit of the dolly, granting you unparalleled ease and finesse in your cinematographic endeavors.
